Bladder

For the past three years I have been having a reoccuring problem that seems to be related to my bladder/periods. I have seen a urologist and had a kidney x-ray and a look inside my bladder. Everything was normal. I found a new ob gyn and they told me I had fibroids and a cystoseal (sp) which they perscribed ditropan to help with the bladder. I recently had another bout with the feeling that you need to empty the bladder (which is almost constant) and the cramps which are like menstrual cramps. I took the peridium which helps to control the discomfort and after three or four days the symptoms subsided. These episodes seem to always follow my period. I am also on low dose birth control pills to help with the heavy bleeding I have when I am not on the pills.

My question is Have you ever heard of such a problem? I am scheduled for another ultrasound on August 18th and my doctor is basically perplexed by my symptoms.

Thank you for your time.
