Low Energy

What could be some medical reasons for someone with extremely low energy? I am 37, not overweight, don't smoke and don't have children. Up until a few months ago, I exercised regularly, but ever since I can remember, my energy levels have been low, even when I exercised. I very seldom ever felt that "boost of energy" a person is supposed to feel upon exercising. Sometimes, my energy feels so low, I almost feel like if someone touched me or blew on me, I could just fall over. I will admit my eating habits are not as good as they could be and I know I don't drink enough water. Do any of the doctors have any advice?
