My guess is that it is "just a hormonal thing" brought on by the change in hormonal status during the bleeding week. Although you're on a monophasic pill, which gives you the same dose of hormones three weeks of the month, during the fourth week you're getting a quite different dose (i.e. none). As long as the discharge is without odor or irritation, I wouldn't worry about it.
