Previous message: mjak: "need help!" I have posted on the forum before about my abnormal periods after having my son. Actual period comes about every 29 days, but I spot 3 days before I actually start, have a period for about 7 days, then continue to spot for up to a week after that. I have researched a lot about my problem and think I may have dysfunctional uterine bleeding. I am due for another pap/pelvic exam soon and was wondering what tests I should ask to have done to find out what is causing this? Would having my thyroid and hormone levels checked be able to tell my doctor what is happening, or would I need to have a vaginal sonogram and maybe and endometrial biopsy? Would appreicate any info.
