I went to my yearly exam yesterday and the Dr. said that he wanted me to have an ultrasound of my pelvic region, ie uterus and female organs. I was diagnosed as having a fibroid tumor on the back of my uteurs about ten years ago. now the Dr. says that my uterus is enlarged and he wants an ultrasound to see what is going on. I have a lot of trouble with my periods, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, slight fever, terrible cramps, sometimes heavy bleeding, exaggerated PMS. What causes your uterus to enlarge? my uterus is tilted also. Could it be my fibroid causing the uterus to enlarge? the procedure is scheduled for this monday, 6-1. I was just curious about why this may happen. The Dr. didn't go into any possibilities of what we may have to do depending on the test results. We just have to wait and see what shows up. Any feedback is welcomed. THANK YOU!
