My periods do come every 28 days or so, but I have some spotting off and on a few days before I actually start my period. Then I have a period for 7 days. Normal flow, No heavy bleeding. Then I spot for up to 5 days after that. Sometimes my cervical mucous is just pinkish. My doctor said that my progesterone level is probably too low although no testing has been done. In May of 1997 I had cryosurgery due to moderate dysplasia. Have had normal paps smears since then. Could the crysurgery have anything to do with this? I go in for another pap smear soon. What tests and questions should I ask to find out exactly what is causing this. It doesn't really bother me, and I don't mind living with this if it's normal. Would appreciate any info. Thank you.
