Next in thread: Marna: "Re: Blood on BM during period" Maybe reply: Marna: "Re: Blood on BM during period" I have noticed over the past few months that I have at least one BM during the 1st couple days of my period that seems to have some blood on or in it. I do not notice this at all during other times. It is not the bright red streaks like from hemorrhoids or straining, but more like the reddish-brown mucousy blood of my period (sorry for being grossly graphic). Is this normal? If not, is it a "ask my dr at my next checkup" kind of thing or is it a "make an appointment soon" kind of thing? What could possibly cause this? I am 27 and taking BCP's. Thanks.
