absense of periodFrom: amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 4 May 1998 22:13:42 -0500 (CDT)
I went off the birth control pill in Aug. of 97. Since then I have been trying to get pregnant. But in Jan. (98) I stopped having my period. Haven't had one since. I am 24 yrs. old and haven't had any children yet. I went to the doctor last month and had some tests run. They did a blood pregnancy test, (which came back neg.), they did a CBC test, and a test to see if I was anemic, I also had an ultrasound to check for cysts. I did have some pain in my lower stomach in Jan. and Feb. but since then I have felt fine. The only thing I have notice is... I seem to have drastic mood swings some times, and anything can make me cry. I didn't used to be that way. All the test came back a o.k., so what's wrong with me? This is all very discouraging since I do want to get pregnant. Can anyone please offer some suggetions on what I need to do next!! Please help
-- Amy
