my daughter has hashimoto's thyroiditis and polymenorrhea.she started her period at age 10 and did not stop,she might stop for 2 days and then start again.her period would be lighter than a normal period, but heavier than spotting.she was started on synthroid 0.88,but the DUB continued. she was started on oral contraceptivies and cont. to have her period from 14 to 20 days a month.she has had a normal pelvic ultrasound, vaginal exam, prolactin level,hormone levels within normal limits, what else could we check? this has been going on for 8 years.
