Amy (and anyone else!)

I have a very similar problem which has been going on for about the last 8 months. I used to have my periods every 3 weeks or so and spot in between sometimes with bad PMS symptoms. I was told then that I had a progesterone deficiency (with no testing!) and I went on BCP for several months. When the BCP started causing me migraines I went to a lower dose pill and the short cycles and spotting returned. Within 3 months of starting the lower dose pill I became pg (accident but not unwelcome!) but ufortunately my baby was born preemie @ 24 weeks and we lost her 3 days after her birth. We have been trying to get pg. for 10 cycles now, without success. My bbt's show I ovulate on day 11 or 12 consistently and I have a 12 day lp, which makes for a 23 or 24 day cycle. My dr originally said I wasn't O'ing (she didn't believe in BBT) and wanted to put me on Clomid - I reqested a progesterone serum which was 9, she said that was low and wanted to put me on Clomid and progesterone supplements. I didn't agree with that and I changed dr, my new dr. said 9 was okay, and then we did an endometrial biopsy which came back perfect. We don't know what is wrong with me but my dr has suggested using 2.5 mg (I think!) provera pill post-O, he said that if my bleeidng is caused by low progesterone that because they can't detect a problem all I'd need is a "boost" until the pg. "took over " I don't claim to understand the reasoning behind all this. Also, in the mean time my husband was diagnosed with prostatitis, so he is currently being treated and that may be why we aren't pg yet. Amy, I don't know if any of this helped you any -- I hope so! And, if there's anyone else with more info I am very interested too.

Thanks!
