blocked fallopian tube

After having 2 laparoscopies, I was informed that my left fallopian tube was blocked. That was discovered when the surgeon did a tubal dye. No amount of dye would enter. In the operative report he stated that at the end there was a thickening that appeared to be slightly subserosal. Does anyone know what subserosal means? I can't find it in any book. Thanks.
