Ronna,

A lot depends on your age. If you're "older" and heading for menopause, your cycles will often get closer together. If you're not ovulating for some reason, they may get closer together (or farther apart) and often may not "feel" like "real" periods (heavy bleeding but not a lot of cramping, or just spotting, or whatever). What you need to do is carefully record WHEN you have bleeding and how it feels, etc, and tell all of this to your doctor when you go in two weeks.
