Re: Endometrial Tissue Passed During PeriodFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 29 Apr 1998 19:44:50 -0500 (CDT)
An update: lab report regarding tissue analysis came back negative (not cancerous; not pre-cancerous.) Thank goodness. The doctor said it's definitely endometrial tissue, but couldn't offer an explanation as to WHY this would happen or WHAT the cause might be. He said we should just "watch and see." I'm not comfortable with this & think that there should be something to do, given the fact that I've had fibroids for years & 2-week periods with lots of cramping & clots for at least the last 2 years (which the doctor is aware of.) Something is definitely not right and should be checked out I'm switching doctors because I'm so very uncomfortable with all of this. What should I expect as a course of action with the next doctor?
