Ann-
I read about this in Good Housekeeping. There is a name for it, and it's a
disorder of sorts, it's not in your head. Is there any way you can get a
hold of anyone like from the Mayo Clinic or perhaps John Hopkins? I wish I
could remember for the life of me the name of that article. I will write
to GH and ask them about it.
But this women described the EXACT same thing you did. Her pain was
horrendous, she had doctors and other health care professionals tell her
that it was all in her head and she said, "NO IT'S IN MY VAGINA".
Can you tolerate vag exams? Have you have an Ultra sound of that area? or
an MRI?
These are all just stabs in the dark here, as I don't have a real answer
for you.

as much as possible on my own, too as no solution has been brought to me. I
am pretty good with pain, from childbirth (natural) to major dental work,
but this is really too much. It feels like a blade is inserted in my
vagina! I have had the same partner (husband), he has tried to be so
gentle, and everything, we tried preceeding intercourse with oral sex to
hopefully "loosen" my vagina, nothing has worked.
