Ashley Hill, M.D.: "Re: Two recent paps abnormal" Previous message: annie: "Two recent paps abnormal" I recently(Jan.) went back on the pill (ortho tricyclen).This last "period" and I can't really call it one because it was just spotting for 2 days, was out of the norm for me even on the pill. Usually I have 3 days of heavy flow then it just spots the last 2 days. I've also had pain in the lower left abdomen similiar to the pain I had when I was diagnosed over 5 yrs. ago with a 2.5cm cyst.The pain comes and goes and is sometimes a dull cramping type of sensation and then sometimes sharp. Could the cyst have returned? I was never given any follow up on the cyst other than being told it would "probably go away". I took a hpt and it was negative and I am out of ideas..Please help.
