The new pill, Alesse, has been prescribed for 23 year old new mother (one month old infant). She is breast feeding-a necessity. One month old infant has been diagnosed with severe allergy to milk protein. Infant tested positive for occult blood and visible blood in stool. However, the blood work up on him pointed to the milk allergy according to the D.O. Also the infant developed jaundice 2 days after birth-bili was at 15.8, now at 7.1. New mother is nervous about the possible effects on her newborn. Although an unwanted pregnacy would also be worrisome. I hope I stated this clearly. Thank you for your response.
