My feeling is that any bleeding during pregnancy should be reported to your careprovider. However, some women bleed on an off during the first trimester. It could be many things. Your cervix could have broken a blood vessel, as the cervix from what I understand is engorged with more blood during this time. Call to be on the safe side.
