Chrissy,

As a seasoned IVFer I can tell you that at my clinic they start checking (ultrasound and bloodtests) around the 8th day of stimulation. I don't think you can see that much on the ultrasound earlier.

I know that there are differences between clinics, and the first time you do IVF they might want to see you earlier to check your blood to see how you are doing on the amount of FSH prescribed. (Could be either too much with the risk of overstimulation or too little so the follicles don't grow enough).
