I have been off the shot since Aug 97 and have not had a period yet or resumed ovulation. On Tuesday I took my first placebo pill, and still have not started bleeding! I have never heard of not bleeding at the appointed time while on OC, unelss pg and I cannot be since we have not had sex in some time due to enforced separation. Why wouldn't I respond to the hormones? Don't even women in menopause have periods when they are given HRT? I am terrified that the Depo Provera has completely compromised my system.
