I would ask your doctor if adhesions could be the problem, as that what it sounds like to me. Severe incisional pain 4 months after surgery is very unusual. I would consider injecting the part of the incision that is tender with a local anesthetic, and if that takes the pain away, it means that you have a localized problem in the incision, (and not deep inside) and that part of ther incision needs to be revised. Laparoscopy may be the only way you can rule out adhesions. If performed, a video is excellent for documentation, just in case the problem recurs >
