Dear Donna, I am not a doctor, but had surgery similar to yours about 2.5 yrs ago. I had very similar symptoms as you are describing. I was told it was "normal", but I just had surgery again and they found a lot of adhesions and the surgeon told me that that was causing alot of the pain and bloating , gas and all. I had this sugery for the removal of a dermoid cyst , and it has only been 10 days and I feel so much better, I think it is because they cleaned up the adhesions, they reopened the same incision and I feel better than I did before the surgery..
