Hello ! I would like to have some help. My LMP was 23.1 (first period after D&C on Nov -97 and second period after my son was born on Feb -97). I had transvaginal ultrasound on March 17, gestational sac was visible (diam. 8.3 mm) but no fetus was seen. My doctor asked me to come back after one month, but I just can't wait so long time. Could this pregnancy still be normal ? Because my menstrual periods are very irregular (28 - 50 days) and I have had just two periods after childbirth, I think you may not calculate pregnancy weeks from LMP. I had positive home pregnancy test on March 2 and I have had sex on February 5 and 10 (so weeks and hopeful u/s results depends on lifetime of sperm, I think). Could sperm stay alive over one week waiting for ovulation ? I had also some vaginal bleeding a few days ago, which was the reason for ultrasound. No bleeding after that. So do I have any hope or should I prepare myself to have second D&C in four months ?
