4 Months Post Total Abdominal Hyst.From: Donna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 18 Mar 1998 06:14:15 -0600 (CST)
I am 31 years old and had a TAH four months ago. I still have a lot of swelling around my incission. I also have a lot of pain on the right side of my incission. I was wondering if this was normal. If so, how long will the swelling be there and why would I have pain on the right side of my incission. Most of the time my abdomen feels very full around the incision. I am still feeling very tired and get dizzy every time I stand up. I am very careful when I stand up so, I don't move very fast. I was anemic after the surgery, but the doctor did a Hemoglobulin test and said I am no longer anemic. Please any information you give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Donna
