abbreviations: sometimes I need some explanations!

Hello everybody,
I have been 'lurking' on this forum for about a year now, and now I
think it's time to ask this:
Wouldn't it be possible to make some sort of list that explains all the
abbreviations used on the forum?
I mean, I have learned a lot, I know now who AF is, what BBT is, HPT
etcetera. But I still find it difficult to understand everything. Okay,
I'm not a native speaker, but this is the internet so I'm quite sure I'm
not the only one! :-)
I would be willing to help setting up such a (IMHO very usefull) list,
so who else would be interested?
