I'm on the new low-dose OC's (Allese) and just finished my first pack Friday, began the new one on Saturday. Am I protected from pregancy now or do I have to wait until I take the first 7 pills of the new pack, where I took green placebos last week as scheduled? This info may or may not matter in your response, but I'll include it anyway: I only missed one pill in the first week of my first pack (to vomiting from my adjustment to the pill), but made it up the next day as perscribed. that's the only pill I've missed the entire time. I may have ovulated that first month (It felt like ovulation, anyway--cramping), but I had my period on the green pills, just like I was supposed to. Thanks, Dr.'s!!!
