Thus, your progesterone would be non-ovulatory, or low. In order to ovulate, after investigation, you sound like you would be a candidate for induction of ovulation with drugs such as Clomid, for example. It does not make sense to me to give you progesterone, as it is a symptom of your lack of ovulation, not a problem to be corrected. You need to talk with your doctor and understand what he/she is doing; if it doesn't make sense, you may need to get another opinion other than ours.
