Boric acid, if diluted according to directions, can be a very good eye wash (did he really say eye wash, Thelma?). There are various treatment schedules from daily for 5-7 days to twice daily 3-4 times a week to suppressive therapy twice a day 2-3 times a week and I'm sure there are even more variations. Why not ask your doctor what he/he recommends?
