>Dear Tracy, I understand that after a surgical hysterectomy, and ooperectomy as you have experienced, that it is not unusual to need estrogen replacement as you have had a drop in estrogen levels. With your family history, I can understand your fear of estrogen replacement. There are a few things that may help you, Try a phytoestrogen capsule called genisten it is soy based, and does not increase your chances of breast cancer (based on materials I have read.)Ask your doc. It will help with symptoms of menopause. It can be obtained from a health store. Just a word of caution, it is a alternative, and sources are not check for dosage, or purity. So go with a reliable company. You may wish to increase your diet in foods that contain phytoestrogens, such as soy, tofu, flax seed, wheat, and yam to name a few. Decrease your diet in caffiene ,spicy foods and alchol. If you smoke STOP> Vit. E 800 Iu. and Vitb6 may be of some benefit. Discuss above with your MD. Tracy, keep cool. Judy RNP
