Adenonocarcinoma in situ

Doctor, You answered an earlier question about adenocarcinoma, and I appreciate it deeply. I am still a bit confused.

Is adenocarcinoma in situ the same thing as having severe dysplasia in your endocervical canal? Or is it cancer already?

The word adenomcarcinoma sounds like cancer, but I was wondering if it is just like carcinoma in situ only in further up the cervix. After a LEEP the doctor said I had it, (margins were clear) but I can't figure out if I should be more worried about it.

Sorry if I am a bit slow in understanding, thanks again for your time and patience. It is much appreciated.
