2 QuestionsFrom: D. (http://anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 1 Feb 1998 19:25:35 -0600 (CST)
I have a friend who has a 17 month old baby girl and her doctor told her that she had something called Vaginal Stenosis. She has skin sealing up the vagina. The doctor really sacared her and told her that if that is not fixed right away then everything will seal and she won't even be able to urinate. The mother had a hormonal problem all her life, problems with her pituatary glalnd, she also had a tumor growing on it, She was on medication while she was pregnant. The doctors said before she was pregnant that she couldn't have any more babies. She a had a boy about 5 years earlier. She never had a period since her boy. When she did finally have one she got pregnant right away. She could not nurse at all because when she did the tumor would grow. It had something to do with her prolactin level and estrogen and stuff.Could you please e-mail me back and give me an adeqite amount of information on this. Her doctor really scared her and she doesn't want to do anything until she knows more, her doctor is giving her very little information regardless how much she asks, His explainations are very vague. One other question. If you could please , Can you please send me some information on LS&A, Lichen Scleorsis et Atrophicus, I think that is how you spell it. The doctor said that that is what I had on my inner labia everywhere. It is extremly itchy and the doctor said that it will just get worse. Can you please give me some indepth details about this as well and the treatments. I want to know if there is any treatments that don't have any side effects. Thank you. And I really hope that you don't take these 2 questions lightly. It means alot to us that we get an accurate answer for each. Thank You Again.....
