Most people have no side effects at all. Some have bloating, breast tenderness or staining for up to 3 months when most of these clear spontaneously. A small number of patients have continued symptoms and need prescription modifications.

In patients below age 40, I get and FSH and LH, Thyroid function tests, prolactin, estradiol level and genetic analysis (increased chance of asymptomatic fragile X in patients with premature (before 40) menopause).
