Dr. Marchbein,
Thank you for your response! Please excuse my ignorance... I guess what I meant was my Dr. suspects adeno, probably due to the size of my uterus (and whatever other signs he may have noticed). And I'm not sure of the severity of the prolapse.. I think he said something about 2?? Would that maybe mean 2nd stage? I don't know.
I have been doing some internet research on these 3 problems, but have found very little on adeno, other than definition and a few symptoms. I didn't know if there was any real treatment available for this one in particular....
Anyway, as I stated before, I was considering having surgery. As far as I'm concerned, my reproductive organs have 3 strikes against them, so they're outta there. I have scheduled a hysterectomy for the 26th, and only wish we could do it sooner. I have become very tired of fighting to keep organs that don't work anyway. The constant pain, although not severe, has been affecting my daily activities.
And pain isn't something I really ever wanted or appreciated in my sex life.
Thanks again for your input... God bless. Dot
