Hi, My name is Diana, I am 31yrs. old. I have 3 children. MY periods have become very irregular. I have very heavy bleeding,(when I say heavy, I mean that I use a superplus tampon and a maxi pad and stil bleed through it in 15min. Sometimes I spot all month long. I usually will have all the signs of a period when I spot. Pms, tiredness, bloating, etc. My Gyn and I have been trying to figure this out. She has put me on Zoloft and Provera. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesnt. Since I have been bleeding so much, I have become Anemic. I now take 375mgs. of iron, prenatal vit. and One a day vit. Three wks ago I discovered a lump in my breast, I went to my doc. and she said that it didnt feel suspicious. She said no more coffe, choc.or peanuts, because that can cause cysts. I am going to see her on Wed. Jan. 7th. My last period was Dec. 24th. and It was extremely bad. On the 3rd day of my period, I woke up with my nipples red hot and burning. After about the 6th day into my period, My nipples were normal and my lump in my breast went down and wasnt as sore. The lump has gotten bigger again,(Not as big as when I first detected it)but its not as sore as it was. My frustration level and tolerence level are gone with dealing with these on going problems. My Gyn. suggested maybe a d&c would be the last choice. I dont know what to do and I very apprehensive. Maybe someone else is going through what I am and can answer some of my questions. hoping for the best and still searching.
