Ashley Hill, M.D.: "Re: pubic and anal itching" Please help us...we are looking for information with regards to pubic and anal itching (and any possible links to the fact that a Norplant device is in use....don't want to have it taken out needlessly). Testing has been done to rule out infections, however this itching has been an ongoing concern for a number of years...it does seem to get worse during the winter months and especially during actual flow time (this is almost constant for the last three years...a minor inconvenience compared to the ease of birthcontrol). The physician's have ruled out disease/infections and we have eliminated possibility of clothing/food/soap allergies....we are now at our wits end...please any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
