Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Post Resection and Ablasion" How long can I expect to have this post surgery discharge/bleeding/guck? I had the procedure done on the 19th. Doc said everything went fine, and I'm back to work. I have a post-op check in 3 weeks. Should the bleeding/discharge/guck/yuck be finished pretty soon? Also, after what point in time -- 1 cycle, 3 cycles, 6 cycles-- is resection and ablasion considered successful? If the procedure was a success (no more bleeding), will I never have another period after I stop with this post-op business? That would truly be a SUCCESS! This forum is interesting and informative. I appreciate the service and also value all those in cyberspace who take the time and energy to offer suggestions, encouragement, and just a listening ear (computer screen.)
