Obsessing...Just a little bit.From: Carolyn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 Oct 1997 08:07:59 -0600 (CST)
Hiya Docs, I have a question regarding OPKs. I miscarried on 9/16 with a D&C the same day. I spotted for 2 days then it stopped. Then 2 days later I had what appeared to be a light period. Same consistency, lasting about 8 days (a bit long for me). Now I am very regular typically 27-28 days so I wasn't surprised when 10/18 I had what appeared to be yet another very light period. But it only lasted about 4 days(a bit short). So, here is where the obsessing part comes in. Since I am usually so regular, I bought the Answer OPK, in an effort to see if I was even ovulating yet. I started the tests Wed, 11 days after the first day of my LMP and got 2 lines, with the first line being "not quite" as dark as the control line. Thursday was the same, the first line a bit darker than Wed's line but was STILL not quite as dark as the control line. This morning the first line was lighter than Wednesday's. OK, here's my question. Is it possible that sometime between Thursday's test and Friday's test I had the LH surge? I took the tests at the same time each morning. Or did I just not ovulate? Thanks, Carolyn
