Hypertensions in pregnancyFrom: Annie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 Oct 1997 06:21:32 -0600 (CST)
I am wondering what effect spikes in blood pressure can have in pregnancy, as opposed to constant high blood pressure. Also, could a damaged kidney be responsible for spikes in bp in pregnancy, as well as swelling and protein and blood in urine. MSU examination was negative. Could a damaged kidney be responsible for PROM? Any answers most gratefully received One last thing.....if one has pre eclampsia, can blood pressure be normal one minute, and high the next? Thanks for your help in advance, Annie!
