The answer comes from a study that came out about 2 years ago done by the government for a different reason but the conclusion is still valid. The time someone will get pregnant, assuming a regular cycle, is 5 days prior to and including the day of ovulation. It was found that no pregnancies occurred more than five days prior to ovulation and no pregnancies occurred the day after ovulation. This is a contradiction to what I had been taught about 2-3 days before and after ovulation. That's why we have to keep reading new journal material. Things change constantly.
