Re: abdominal painFrom: C (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 26 Oct 1997 17:10:03 -0600 (CST)
>I have also been having this pain on my left side just above the pelvic bone. I have been going through this for 4 1/2 months. The first gyn I went to, diagonse me with chronic uti. After he has treated me off and on for these over a 3 year period. This pain came up and has lasted for 4 1/2 months. Finally after becoming frustated, he sent me to a urologist. The urologist stated that I do not have any sign of infection. He referred me to a different gyn. The symptoms have increased to pain after intercourse, painful periods, and a fatigue. This gyn proformed laposcopy on 10/13/97. Everything showed normal. However since the surgery, the pain has increased. This gyn has sent me to a Internist. He is waiting for blood work results to come back. A friend told me that it is possible that because I was on antibotics for so long that I could have yeast infection in my intestine. Do you have any information on something such as this? What type of symptoms would you have? Any info is greatly appreciated.
P.S. Sorry this is so long.
