Dear Barbara,
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question. Both my
sister and Emily (the baby) are just fine. In fact, Emily will be one
year old next week! (already???!!!) Emily weighed 7lbs 2 oz at birth and
now she is just a big ol' ball of baby.
My underlying concern is this. Since my sister was induced, she had a
hard time beginning labor. In fact, they had to perform a caesarean
section. By pure chance I had the opportunity to speak with several of
Dr. X.'s other patients that afternoon. Turns out Dr. X had 5 women
induced and performed 3 c-sections among that group. Dr. X. then
headed for a seminar in Florida the very next day.
Thanks again for answering my question...
