clomid cycle, negative blood test, but temp still upFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 10 Oct 1997 18:10:57 -0500 (CDT)
Hi, I could really use some guidance/insight into what is going on with me right now. I was on Clomid this month (first month), and clearly ovulated on Day 18 of my cycle. Intercourse was timed well, and it is now 18 days of high temperatures since the day of ovulation. in the past 5 days or so, my temps have been as follows: 98.6, 98.5, 98.9, 98.6, 98.6, 98.4. I had a negative urine test on Wednesday (16 DPO), and a negative blood test on Day 17. However, today is Day 18 of high temps, and the doctor on call tells me that a blood test CAN be wrong (which contradicted what the nurse told me on the phone yesterday when she gave me the negative result). Could I be pregnant, and it not register on a blood preg. test? I have been sleeping a lot, have sore breasts, very irritated gums, and no sign of spotting. What should I think? Is this an impending miscarriage? Or a pg that just hasn't registered? I'm so confused! Thanks
-- Amy
