My lochia turned to brown color about 5 days postpartum and back to a red color about 8 days postpartum. I assumed it was from too much activity. The last week my discharge has turned back to a brown or pale color and is almost gone. Lastnight I began to bleed again. This time it was just bright red blood and some small clots...no mucus. It was a very heavy flow for about 15 minutes and then slowed down. I was sitting on the couch when it started, no activity. I really hadn't done much all day. Today my discharge is back to the brown and there is very little. I though it was my period but now I'm wandering if it was something I should call my doctor about. Thanks for your advice.
