Based on recent studies, the "fertile window" is the day of ovulation and the 5 days before ovulation. Most women ovulate 14 days before the onset of the next period, so in a 28 day cycle, most of the time ovulation will occur around day 14 (day 16 in a 30 day cycle, day 12 in a 26 ay cycle, etc). This is a rough estimate. To better pinpoint when *you* ovulate, do basal body temperatures, check your cervical mucus, or do urinary ovulation predictor tests. Good luck -- and have fun -- in your quest for pregnancy.
