Trying to conceive with Asthma

In July I had a missed miscarriage followed by a D&C. Until this day I have yet to have a cycle. I have taken pg test at my ob/gyn's office and it came back negative. I had to go to the ER for an asthma attack (in which I was admitted)and they tested and it was negative. With my last pregnancy I took 3 hpt's and it didn't show positive until I was 8 1/2 weeks. I am really worried that I could be pregnant and have severe problems bc of the chest x-ray they did in the hospital. Futher more my Dr said that I might not be able to conceive bc of all the meds that I am on. Could you explain why, she didn't go into detail. My husband and I are wanting to have a baby and have been trying for 18 mos. before the mis. I am really scared and I don't know what to do!! Please help!

Miscarrige on 7-11-97

Asthma meds: Deltasone 10mg x 7days Fenesin 600mg x 7 days SMZ/TMP 800mg x 7 days Azmacort 100mcg 2puffs every four hours Atrovent 18mcg/ac " " " Proventil 90mcg 2 puffs every 4 hrs as needed Albuterol Sulfate 1ml w 3ml Broncho Saline in Nebulizer

On September 5, it will be 8wks since the D&C and my Dr told me that if I haven't started yet, to take a hpt and if neg call him and he would start me on provera. If I take another hpt and it comes out negative and he gives me provera and I am really pregnant will this hurt? and with all the meds and the xray what would be my chances????
