Mary Ellen, Sounds like you had an elevated lupus anticoagulant or anticardiolipin antibody or both. A baby aspirin a day reduces miscarriages by (it is felt) interfering with the clotting mechanism which may affect vascular supply (blood supply) to the placenta and the fetus. The aspirin works darn well. Good luck in the near future!
