It happens occasionally -- before I perform a tubal, I counsel my
patients that changes for the worse may occur about 10% of the time
(somewhere I read a study citing those numbers, but it was a long time
ago, so I can't give you a good reference)

All the things we recomend for anyone wiht PMS-type symptoms -- regular
exercise; frequent small high complex carbohydrate meals; avoid salt,
fats and alcohol midcycle; B complex vitamins; Calcium/magnesium
supplements.
