Dear TCM, Cycle changes have been noted in peolpe after tubal ligation, but in a study done years ago the was no difference in two groups with respect to changes in their bleeding patterns. These two groups were #1 tubal ligation and #2 no tubal ligation! So where does that leave us?

Next, I agree with your diagnosis that all of your other symptoms are related to hormone changes and *PMS*. (I hate that term *PMS* because I feel it labels people and is somewhat condescending and derogatory but I didn't name it.)

I usually recommend the folowing: aerobic exercise of some sort for 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week, no caffeine, a diet higher in carbohydrates and lower in protein, fat, salt, sugar, and in some people B6 100mg twice a day (every day) helps about 50% of my patients (although there are articles stating that it is ineffective).

On the bright, no more cramps '-)

Good luck.
