How about me at 44 calling in every month for 2 to 4 days with severe cramps so along with several rounds with my doctors(GIM and OB-GYN) on july 28, 1997 I had my hysterectomy (removal of my uterus only) thru my vagina it went very well. I went home the next day july 29, 1997 I will return to work sept.8, 1997. I'm just letting the healing take place and each day I feel better. I have no regrets after I looked at the two main functions of the uterus and the two effects this would have on my body WHY BE IN PAIN EVERY MONTH.
