Dear Maggie,

Thank goodness some-one answered you... I was getting worried :)... :) means grin in cyber-talk.

I am happy to announce that Dr. Krell is alive and well. I received a nice Email from him today that confirms it! Dr. Krell besides practicing medicine has a private consulting business and a physician for a wife, so... as you can see we are truly lucky to "get him when we can" as the saying goes.

Now as the expert on "Everything", as my kids like to remind me, I will attempt to answer the last two parts of your questions. (Yes, I've had a Hystorectomy Too!) I guess if you live Long enough you get every-thing!

d) Will I experience a different sexual response without my >>uterus? e)

No

How many or you patients who have had a hysterectomy ( >>although happy to be free of pain) experience other effects that may be
>>related to castration.

I have had None. It's been ten years and I've never felt better! I had mine the "Old Fashion" way with the big incision and still feel great. I personaly never felt castrated I felt "made well again" fit my situation better.

Good luck Maggie and I'll be watching for the answers to your other questions.

Barbara

Thank you again for your >>insights............Regards...........Maggie
