Thank You, Dr. Lovely...From: Mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 May 1997 20:11:30 -0500 (CDT)
Dr. Lovely, Thank you for your many replies to my progesterone therapy questions the other day. I appreciate all the time you took to help me out! You made a comment in your last reply about progesterone therapy postponing a subsequent period. Are you referring to a couple of days longer than your normal cycle, or a week or more? My last cycle (first one on clomid) was 26 days and the two prior to that (no clomid) were 30 and 28 days. What would be considered a reasonable amount of time beyond Day 30 to get a pregnancy test, given the progesterone supplementation? Can you tell I am a wee bit impatient? :-) Also, what other effects does the added progesterone have on the cycle? Does it cause your luteal phase temps to rise higher than without the extra progesterone? Thank you once again!
